Sound familiar?

You know something's wrong. You just can't name it.

Noises in the roof, but you can't tell what's making them
Droppings or damage you can't identify
Something's getting in and you have no idea where
You've had it sprayed before and it came back

Picking the wrong treatment is expensive twice: once for the one that doesn't work, and again for the one that does. An inspection costs less than guessing.

Already know what you're dealing with? Go straight to possums, rats and mice or insect sprays.

The honest maths

What it costs to leave it

Not scare tactics. Just what we keep finding when people wait.

Rodents don't stop chewing

Their teeth never stop growing, so they gnaw to wear them down. In a roof that means wiring insulation, water pipes and timber. Chewed wiring is a real fire risk, and none of it's visible from inside the house.

Possum mess soaks in

Urine and droppings work down into insulation and ceiling plaster. Leave it long enough and you're replacing insulation and patching ceilings, which costs a lot more than finding it early.

An open gap stays open

Evict the animal without sealing the way in and something else moves in a few weeks later. Finding the entry point is the difference between a fix that holds and a treatment you pay for twice.

None of that means you should panic. Most of what we find is cheap to fix if you catch it early, and plenty of the time the answer is “you’re fine, here’s what to keep an eye on”. That’s the whole reason we inspect before we treat.

Worth knowing: damage caused by vermin is a common exclusion on home insurance policies. If you haven’t checked yours, it’s worth a look at the PDS.

How it works

Find out first. Treat only what needs it.

01

Book in

Pick a time that works. No phone tag, no waiting on a callback to find out what you're dealing with.

02

We inspect

Ladders out, manhole in. We walk the roof, the roof void and the entry points properly, not just the rooms you can see.

03

Report and photos

You get written findings with photos. What's there, where it's getting in, and what the damage looks like.

04

Prevention plan

What to fix, what you can do yourself, and what actually needs us. Honest about all three.

When it's worth it

Three reasons people book this

Can't identify it

Possum, rat, or something else entirely? Guessing wrong means paying for the wrong treatment. We identify it first.

It keeps coming back

Treatment that doesn't hold usually means the entry point was never found. An inspection finds the way in, not just the animal.

New place, no history

Just moved in, or taken on a rental you don't know? Get a baseline on the roof, the void and the perimeter before something starts.

Why us

Why our inspection is different

We get on the roof

Ladders out and manhole in, which is more than most pest jobs include. The problem is usually up there.

Honest recommendations

Only the work we'd run at our own homes. We don't invent problems to sell treatments.

Prevention first

A plan for stopping it happening again, not just a quote for spraying what's there today.

DIY tips included

The things you can sort yourself, told to you plainly, so you need us back less often.

“Inspected the place with a fine tooth comb and blocked all entrance points after spending considerable time checking perimeter of the place. On time, real easy to work with and super efficient in addressing the problem. Couldn't recommend more highly.”

FAQ

Common questions

A full property walk including roof access and manhole inspection where it's safe to do so, a written report with photos of what we found, and a prevention plan covering what to fix, what you can handle yourself, and what genuinely needs us.

No. This is a diagnostic visit, not a treatment. If the findings call for treatment we'll explain the options and you book that separately, so you're never paying for a treatment chosen before anyone identified the problem.

No. Termite inspections require specialist accreditation and are a separate service. If anything we find looks termite-related we'll tell you and stop there rather than guess.

Yes, where it's safe and relevant. Roof and roof-void access is the point of the visit. Most roof noise problems get solved by finding an entry point most people never see, and you don't find those from the ground.

You still get the report and the prevention plan. Knowing there's no active problem, and knowing which gaps could become one, is a useful result rather than a wasted visit.

Yes, it's a one-off inspection and plan with no treatment warranty attached. Treatment warranties apply to any possum, rodent or pest work you book afterwards. Call (03) 9007 2499 if you'd rather talk it through first.
