These terms apply when you use the Best At Pests website and when you book our pest control services. By using the site or booking a job with us, you agree to them. Please read them alongside our Privacy Policy.
Using this website
The information on this site is general in nature and provided in good faith to help you understand what we do. We keep it as accurate and current as we can, but it is not a guarantee of any particular outcome for your property. The content, branding, and images on this site belong to us and may not be reused without our permission. Our booking app is hosted on a separate site and has its own terms.
Bookings and quotes
Bookings are made through our online booking app. Because every property is different, the price for your job is based on the information you give us and confirmed once we have assessed the work needed. We will let you know the scope and price before we start, so there are no surprises.
Payment
No deposit is required to book. Payment is due once the job is done and you are happy with the work. Payments are handled through our booking and payment providers.
How we work
For possums, we use humane one-way doors and proofing. We never cage, relocate, or poison possums. For rodents, we use secure, pet-safe bait stations and seal entry points, and we always check for possums first. For general pests, we use treatments selected to be safe around families and pets when used as directed. We will give you any specific instructions to follow on the day.
Our warranty
We stand behind our work. If the problem comes back within the warranty period for the work we carried out, we will come back and sort it at no extra charge.
- Possum proofing: 2.5 year warranty, the longest in Australia. If a possum gets back into an area we proofed during the warranty period, we return and fix it.
- Rodent treatment: 6 month warranty. If rodents return within the period, we come back and re-treat.
- Pest sprays: 6 month warranty. If treated pests return within the period, we come back and re-treat.
The warranty covers the specific areas and work we were engaged to do. It does not cover new entry points or activity caused by things outside our control, such as later building work, renovations, storm or structural damage, new damage by animals, or areas we were not asked to treat or could not access. This warranty is in addition to the rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law.
Cancelling or rescheduling
Plans change, no worries. If you need to cancel or move your booking, just let us know as early as you can so we can free up the spot for someone else.
Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law or other laws that cannot be excluded. To the extent the law allows, where our services do not meet a guarantee that can be limited, our liability is limited to supplying the services again or covering the reasonable cost of having them supplied again.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The current version will always be on this page, with the date it was last updated shown at the top. These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia.
