It generally takes 3-4 weeks. Rodents are neophobic, so they can be wary of new bait in their environment at first.
Occasionally rodents will die inside your roof. However, they will generally decompose without a noticeable smell. If you've had someone do a pest treatment and then noticed a terrible smell, we can almost guarantee they inadvertently killed a possum by not checking. If you notice an unpleasant odour, contact us and we'll sort it out.
Yes. As pet owners ourselves, we take as much care as possible to use low toxicity baits in homes with pets and ensure baits are not accessible to your furry friends.
Rats make lighter, faster scratching and gnawing sounds, often heard throughout the day. Possums are heavier and tend to thump around at night. Droppings are another giveaway: rat droppings are small and scattered, possum droppings are larger and more obvious. If you're not sure, book online and we'll work it out.
